Organized by Colonel Thomas Sherman, deceased, currently directed by Joyce Sherman, youth are actively engaged in classroom simulated pilot training conducted at the Mauser Aviation Airport in Rio Linda California, with the support of volunteer pilots who conduct the actual training. Students gain an opportunity to enter vocational training and colleges with some advanced training and knowledge in aviation career areas.

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with expanding our aviation program. Especially pilots and owners of private aircraft. All resources are appreciated and accepted.

Public support will be a driving focus in raising the additional funds needed to meet our established programs and goals.

It is important that we raise the needed funds due to the success and growth realized over the past couple of years.

James Garnder our most successful student completed his training through the Youth Aviation Program (YAP) and received his Youth Pilot Certification then went on to complete his college education training through Emery Riddle University and currently works as a pilot for a private company.
